The latest educational sessions were held at the academies of FC Shamakhi and FC Gabala within the educational training program implemented by AFFA Football Development Department across the country's football academies.
The sessions were conducted by Sarkhan Huseynov, Head of AFFA Football Development Department, physical conditioning expert Turjay Ahmadov, Project Manager for the Eyeball platform Ziya Askarov, academy supervisor Sakit Rzayev, and coordinator Said Abasov.
Within the Program, an extensive exchange of views took place with the coaches regarding AFFA 5-Star Academy Development Model, the implementation of a unified development model in football academies, Game Model, Player Pathway, training process planning, the definition of player profiles, the preparation of training content tailored to developmental stages, and the principles of developing world-class players.
During the training, participants were provided with detailed information regarding the objectives, assessment criteria, implementation mechanism, and role in the long-term development of academies associated with the 5-Star Academy Development Model.
The sessions also covered topics such as players' lifestyles and professional conduct off the pitch, the planning of physical conditioning across age groups, and the importance of establishing unified training and match terminology throughout all academy age categories.
The Eyeball platform, designed for planning, monitoring, and evaluation of player development, has been presented. During the presentation, the platform's key functions, its potential for implementation in academies, and the advantages it offers for tracking and managing player development in a digital environment were highlighted to the participants.
The training program will continue in various football academies and youth football schools across the country in the coming period.
