FC Qarabag finished competing for the UEFA Europa League Group stage.
The club from Azerbaijan met the German club Freiburg in the last game of the UEFA Europa League Group stage. The match at Tofig Bahramov Republic Stadium ended in a draw 1-1. Kwabwena Owusu scored the goal for Qarabag in the 90 + 2nd minute. Therefore, Qarabag finished the third in Group G and stopped to compete for the UEFA Europa League, but will continue to play for the UEFA Europa Conference League Playoffs.
The 2022/23 UEFA Europa Conference League knockout round play-off draw takes place at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland and starts at 17:00 on 7 November.
