Azerbaijan FC Qarabag, competing in the UEFA Europa League, the first-leg match against the Norwegian club Molde in the group stage of the tournament. Qarabag beat the opponents 1-0 at the match at Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium. Leandro Andrade scored the goal for Qarabag in the 55th minute of the game. The champion of Azerbaijan will play the next away game against the Swedish club BK Häcken within the group stage of the tournament on October 5.
