FC Qarabag met APOEL FC (Cyprus) within the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round first-leg matches.
Azeri club beat Cyprus champion APOEL FC in a 2-1 at the GSP stadium in Nicosia. Mahir Amrali scored the first goal for FC Qarabag in the 54th minute as well as Magaye Gueye scored the second in the 69th minute.
The second-leg match between these clubs will be played at Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium in Baku on August 13 at 20:30h.
