A football festival for children aged 10-13 was held at Nakhchivan central stadium within the UEFA Grassroots Week, organized by AFFA and supported by UEFA and EA Sports Company.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the event, Vice-President of Nakhchivan Football Federation Arif Khudiyev, General Secretary Ragif Abbasov, Head of the Sports Department of Nakhchivan Ministry of Youth and Sports Taleh Ibrahimov, Deputy Head of Nakhchivan City Executive Power Gulkhanim Orujova, epresentative of Nakhchivan Ministry of Education Safar Tagiyev and Head of AFFA Graasroots Department Farrukh Ismayilov expressed their best wishes to the participants and wished them success in their future lives.
More than 100 children participated in the Festival. They played football and had a fun time. At the end of the Festival, each child was presented with balls sent by UEFA. The gifts were presented to the children by officials of Nakhchivan Football Federation and AFFA.
