A meeting was held by AFFAs Women's Football Department with representatives of the teams set to participate in AFFA Women's Leagues for the season 2026/2027.
The event at AFFA Headquarters was attended by Zumrud Aghayeva, Head of AFFA Women's Football Department, Emrah Aykurt, Technical Director, Siyasat Asgarov, Head Coach of Azerbaijan Women's national team, Khanlar Aliyev, Head Coach of Azerbaijan Women’s Under-17 team), and Rovshan Gasimov, Head Coach of Azerbaijan Women’s Under-15 team.
During the meeting, views were exchanged regarding the results of the past season, and proposals submitted via a prior electronic survey among the teams were discussed. The parties opinions were sought concerning the format of AFFA Women's Leagues in the season 2026/2027, as well as planned changes regarding the organization and conduct of competitions in future seasons.
Club representatives and league coordinators were also invited to the event.
