New appointments have been made to the coaching staff of Azerbaijan Under-21 national team. According to the decision, Rashad Huseynov has been appointed as a coach while Gara Garayev has been appointed as an analyst.
The AFFA leadership hopes that the new appointments will contribute to the development of the Under-21 team, more efficient organization of the training process for young players, and more systematic preparation for international matches.
Note that Rashad Huseynov, who has been coaching since the age of 25, has worked for the football clubs Ravan, Zira, Sabah and Neftchi in different years. The 36-year-old specialist also served as assistant head coach of the main team in Sabah.
Gara Garayev, one of the well-known figures of Azerbaijani football, played for FC Qarabag a large part of his professional career. The 33-year-old former midfielder of Azerbaijan national team later played for Neftchi and Araz-Nakhchivan.
