Azerbaijan Under-19 team having a training camp in Slovenia, played the first match within the Slovenia Nations Cup friendly tournament today.
The Azerbaijani U-19 team faced the Under-19 team from Iceland. The match at Preddvor stadium ended for Elkhan Abdullayev’s team 2-1. The goals for Azerbaijan were scored by Ziya Shekarkhanov in the 46th minute and Shahin Ibrahimov in the 55th minute.
Note that the Azerbaijan Under-19 team will play the next match within the international tournament against the Faroe Islands on September 6.
