Azerbaijan Women’s Under-16 team played the first match within the UEFA Development Tournament in Baku.
Azerbaijan faced the girls from Lithuania. The match at Bina Stadium ended for the opposing team 4-1. The goal for Azerbaijan was scored by Khadija Rahimova from a penalty kick in the 25th minute.
In the other match of the day, Romania defeated Georgia 2-0.
Note that Azerbaijan Women’s Under-16 team will play the next match against Romania on May 8.
