“Our first opponent, Northern Ireland, was a very strong team. They won all three games in the group with a big score. Albania and Montenegro were about equal. After the first match, our team was a little tired. In the second match, we lost to Albania due to individual mistakes. In the match against Montenegro, our team reached the form we wanted.

We could have defeated Montenegro, the second in our group. But we missed one hundred percent of the goal opportunities. These games were a good experience for our team. The girls did their best”.

Note that Azerbaijan Women's Under-19 team competed with Northern Ireland (0-4), Albania (0-4) and Montenegro (1-2) in Group IV of League B.
