Head coach of Azerbaijan Under-21 national team, Rashad Eyubov, expressed his views to AFFA press service after the friendly match against FC Shamakhi:
“We played a great game against a strong team. This is a great experience for my players. Because for many of them it was their first time playing against such a high-level opponent. Overall, I was satisfied with our energy and concentration during the match. We have a lot of work ahead of us. The two games we played during the training camp were quite useful for us.”
Note that Azerbaijan Under-21 national team having a training camp in Baku, won a friendly match against Sabail 1-0 and lost a friendly match against Shamakhi 0-1.
