Selection days were organized for 1998-1999 and 1996-1997 born children by AFFA in Training Center of Olympic Teams on March 25 and 26. 117 children took part in selection process, held on March 25, and 105 children took part on March 26.
Head coach of Azerbaijan national team Berti Vogts, AFFA Technical director Bernhard Lippert, head coach of U-17 combined team Oliver Pelzer and AFFA selectionist-coaches followed children fulfilling given exercises in the selection process and took proper notes.
