The delegation from Azerbaijani participated in an international meeting organized within the SCALE Project in the Romanian capital, Bucharest. An International Partners Meeting was held within the SCALE Project in Bucharest, Romania.
Azerbaijan was represented at the event held at the headquarters of the Romanian Football Federation by project coordinator Kifayat Mustafayeva, coaches Gulyana Ozcan and Ofelia Gafarova. They made presentations on the successful implementation of the Pproject in Azerbaijan, field activities and the implementation of school programs on “dual careers”.
During the two-day meeting, the current status and future plans of the Pproject were discussed between the partner countries - Azerbaijan, Romania, Italy, Moldova and Malta. Important decisions were made, in particular, regarding the implementation of the methodology, evaluation surveys, analysis of results, and collection of feedback on the SCALE methodology and the final organizational work of the Project.
The event was also an important milestone in terms of planning the tournaments and final conference. The SCALE Project aims to develop a “dual career” model that supports young players’ academic activities alongside their sports. Starting in 2023, the Project, is implemented in Azerbaijan by AFFA’s organization, is cover 10 schools and 5 clubs (including boy players and girl players).
