Today is an anniversary of one of the most talented members of Azerbaijan football, Anatoliy Banishevskiy. He was one of the strongest players of his period, played for "Neftchi", as well as USSR national team for a long time.
At his 70th anniversary AFFA and "Neftchi" Professional Football Club leadership, veteran players, members of football community visited Banishevskiy's grave and put wreaths and bunches of flowers in front of his gravestone. AFFA General Secretary Elkhan Mammadov and chairman of Neftchi PFC Supervision Council Chingiz Abdullayev talked about Anatoliy Banishevskiy's activities for the development of football in Azerbaijan. Member of AFFA Executive Committee Iskandar Javadov and Chingiz Ismayilov shared their memories about late player. Banishevskiy's wife talked on behalf of their family and thanked for the attention.
