FC Zira, Azerbaijan’s representative in the UEFA Conference League, has played the second-leg match within the second qualifying round today.

The team was a guest of the Croatian team Hajduk. The home team opened the score in the 19th minute of the match at the Poljud Stadium in Split. Moreover, Guima from Zira is shown a red card in the 77th minute. Despite being outnumbered, Rashad Sadigov’s team managed to equalize the score. Issa Djibrilla scored in the 90+3rd minute.
As in the match held in Baku a week ago, the match in Split ended in a draw 1-1 after the full time so the teams played extra time. Hajduk won 2-1 thanks to a goal scored in the 95th minute. Zira lost 2-3 on aggregate and stopped competing in the European Championships.
