Within the organization of AFFA and cooperation with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan, football classes have been launched at the penitentiary and juvenile correctional facility for female prisoners No. 4, in Kurdakhani settlement.
The classes are held twice a week and are conducted by coaches Irada Guliyeva and Elvin Hamidov, appointed by AFFA. The main goal of the classes organized in prisons is to support the physical and psychological development of prisoners, improve their social adaptation, and prevent criminal behavior. Such activities allow prisoners to improve themselves, maintain their emotional health, and increase their social skills. Also, the discipline and cooperation achieved during football training can make the environment in prisons more peaceful and harmonious.
Additionally, AFFA has provided all participants with sports equipment (balls, cones, sportswear for training, sports goals, ball bags, etc.).
