As part of his visit to Washington, D.C., to attend the 2026 FIFA World Cup draw, President of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) Rovshan Najaf met with Vice President of the Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) Ravshan Irmatov.
During the meeting, the sides discussed various issues related to the organization and holding of the FIFA U-20 World Cup to be held in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in 2027, as well strengthening relations between the associations in various fields.
