It was held a meeting with the participation of General Secretary Elkhan Mammadov, head coach of Azerbaijan A national team Robert Prosinecki, technical director Bernhard Lippert, the members of The Coaches Committee and the coaches of the national teams consisting of different age groups, in AFFA's Football Academy.
The meeting, that held with the head coaches of Topaz Premier League clubs on December 14 in Baku Olympic Stadium, was remembered and efficient discussions of that meeting was mentioned. It was also emphasized that, intercommunication between the coaches of national teams and the coaches of clubs must be in high level necessarily. In the meeting, it was noted that, talented young players must be kept in focus for achieving the participation of Azerbaijan national team in European Championship, which will be in 2020 and 4 matches of it will be held in Baku. Therefore, coaches of teams and clubs must cooperate closely, and if it is necessary, they must train with young players individually.
It was decided to compile a list of 30 players born in 1994-2000 for forming the national team for a short period of time, which will perform in Euro-2020, and to prepare methodical resource for the individual training of that players.
