Below are the opinions expressed by the head coach of the national team, Gianni De Biasi, at the press conference organized today after the Belgium-Azerbaijan game held in Brussels at the "King Baudouin Stadium" within the framework of the EURO-2024 qualifying round:
"As I said before the game, a tough game was waiting for us. And so it happened. We struggled against a strong opponent. It is difficult for us to play every three days. Although we scored less points in the qualifying stage, we tried our best until the end.
Today it was difficult to play with 10 players. The boys couldn't do more than that."
