A meeting was held with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mexico to Azerbaijan, Maria Victoria Romero Caballero.
The meeting was organized at the Mexican Embassy in Baku and attended by Kifayat Mustafayeva, Manager for Social Responsibility in Football, Zumrud Aghayeva, Head of AFFA Women's Football Department, Tora Ahmadova, Chief Specialist of AFFA Media and Public Relations Section, representatives of the women's national team, coaches and football players.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the possibilities of future bilateral cooperation between AFFA and the Mexican Embassy on social projects, to support the further strengthening of the role of women in sports, and to exchange views on the work done in this direction. It was emphasized that such cooperation will make a significant contribution to both the development of sports and the promotion of social inclusion.
The Ambassador also had a cordial conversation with the football players of Azerbaijan Women's national team. She thanked the players for their dedication to sports and participation in international tournaments, and wished them all successes in their future careers.
Finally, Ambassador Victoria Romero was presented a keepsake on behalf of AFFA.
