A meeting with UEFA Grassroots Football Mentor Helen Croft was held at AFFA Headquarters. The meeting was attended by AFFA Deputy Secretary General Elchin Mammadov, heads and staff members of the relevant structural divisions of the organization.
During the meeting, a wide exchange of views was held on the current state of grassroots football in Azerbaijan, projects implemented in this area, as well as future development prospects. The UEFA representative was provided with detailed information on the work carried out by AFFA to promote grassroots football, and programs implemented in schools, clubs and regions.
Helen Croft positively assessed the steps taken towards the development of grassroots football in Azerbaijan, shared her views on UEFA's experience and recommendations in this area. At the same time, the importance of strengthening international cooperation, increasing the involvement of children and adolescents in football, and inclusive football projects was particularly emphasized.
At the end of the meeting, the sides discussed opportunities for joint activities for the continuation of cooperation, and the sustainable development of grassroots football.
