Azerbaijan’s representative in the UEFA Champions League FC Qarabag played the first-leg match in the third qualifying round.
The team played against Shkendija from North Macedonia. The match took place at the National Arena Todor Proeski in Skopje and ended to the Azerbaijani champion 1-0. Toral Bayramov scored the goal for FC Qarabag from a penalty kick in the 18th minute.
Note that the second-leg match between the teams will be held on August 12 in Baku.
