AFFA, the body responsible for coordination with UEFA and organizational aspects of the event, will utilize volunteers’ service in this prestigious competition, too. The registration process is expected to bring in 1,300 volunteers.
The volunteer program will be open to everyone striving to be part of the major continental sporting event in addition to students. Training sessions on organizational issues, educational and entertainment courses, special master classes and other activities are planned to be organized in the framework of the program.
Everyone who wants to join this program and improve their personal qualities and skills, find new friends globally and be part of the football world may go to www.finalbaku2019.az/volunteers and fill out the registration form. Each registered applicant will be invited to an interview in February 2019.
Trainings for volunteers who successfully pass the competition will begin in February and will last until late April/early May. The trainings will cover mainly three different areas: general training (information on games and customer services), role-based training (training about the position), and venue training (training about the facility where the volunteer will serve).
Volunteers who have successfully passed the selection stage will avail themselves of a number of training sessions, gain theoretical knowledge and get the chance to apply this knowledge in practice during the event, thereby acquiring valuable experience for a successful future.
The deadline for applications to join AFFA’s volunteer team and be part of the excitement provided by the Final is January 31, 2019. Everyone who wants to acquire a volunteer uniform, find new friends, and gain knowledge, skills and international experience are invited to join the program.
