The winners of the 2023/2024 AFFA U-17 League season were awarded at the awarding ceremony held at Kapital Bank Arena in Sumgayit.
At the event, individual award winners were recognized first. Togrul Tapdigli from Sumgayit, who scored 40 goals during the season, received the top scorer award. Hikmet Jabrayilzada, a player from Qarabag, was honored as the best player of the season.
Following the individual awards, the teams that placed in the top three were awarded medals and diplomas. Neftchi, with 88 points, received bronze medals for securing third place, while Sabah, with 94 points, received silver medals for taking second place. Sumgayit emerged as the champions of the 2023/2024 AFFA U-17 League, scoring 97 points and earning a gold medal and a cup.
The awards were presented by Fuzuli Mammadov, the head coach of the Azerbaijan Under 18 team, Elnur Mammadli, the chairman of the Supervisory Board of Sumgayit FC, and Riad Rafiyev, the president of Sumgayit FC.
