A tournament for selection took place within the framework of the Elite Project. The main goal of the tournament organized at the National Teams Training Center is to monitor talented football players playing for various teams and conduct a selection process for their involvement in the Elite project.
The winner of the competition organized among 19 teams consisting of players born in 2013 was “Agsu City”. In the tournament involved 9 teams consisting of players born in 2014, “Khan” won the championship.
The director of the Elite Project Mirbaghir Isayev, scout Ramiz Ahmadov, as well as the head of AFFA Football Development Department Sarkhan Huseynov watched the matches and evaluated the performances of the players.
Considering the future development prospects of the selected players, appropriate work will be continued to involve them in the Elite project.
