"Tofig Bahramov Award" was presented to the referee and the assistant referee who excelled in the 2022/2023 season of the Azerbaijan Premier League, in AFFA Headquarters today.
AFFA General Secretary Sarkhan Hajiyev and Head of the Referees Committee Barish Simshek attended the event.
Referee Ingilab Mammadov and Assistant Referee Zeynal Zeynalov were presented the "Tofig Bahramov Award" as a result of written voting. The president of the Professional Football League, head coaches and captains of the Premier League clubs, the chairman and members of the Referees Committee and the chairman of the Football Referees Union took part in the voting in accordance with the regulations of the award.
Note, that at the meeting of the AFFA Executive Committee dated January 29, 2021, a decision was made to establish the "Tofig Bahramov Award" to be presented to referees who excelled during the season, and the statute of the award was approved at the meeting of the committee dated May 31, 2021.
