The training camp for elite category referees from Azerbaijan continues in Antalya, Türkiye.
Exercises on fitness were held, and the referees' body mass index was checked under the leadership of Head of AFFA Referees Department fitness section, honored coach Namig Guliyev.
At the invitation of AFFA, theoretical and practical seminars were organized for referees by a member of the UEFA Referees Committee. Carlos Velasco, UEFA Refereeing Officer conducted practical seminars on the topics Positioning on the pitch and Match refereeing. UEFA’s referee fitness expert Werner Helsen delivered a speech at the seminar covering referees’ fitness, practical moves and decision-making.
