“Football lesson in schools” tournament was completed

The tournament holding among girls and boys within the “Football lesson in schools” project by the joint organization of AFFA and the Ministry of Education was completed.
An awarding ceremony was held after the final game played at ASCO Arena. Awards were presented by Jahangir Hasanzada, head of AFFA Grassroots Department; Vasif Mammadov, head of Extracurricular Activities Department at Ministry of Education; and Aslan Karimov, a former player of Azerbaijan national team.
Gulyaz Mammadova (the secondary school No.3 in Shaki) was chosen the best player, Nuray Mukhtarova (the secondary school No.299) the best goalkeeper, and Rashadat Jadarov (the secondary school No.3 in Shaki) the best head coach of the tournament among the girls. Fair-Play award was presented to Shabnam Jafarova (the secondary school No.239). Parishan Abdullayeva, a player of Shaki team became the top scorer with her 9 goals. The secondary schools No.239 and No.299 took the third and second places respectively. The secondary school No.3 of Shaki became the winner.
Amin Aliyev (the secondary school No.236) was chosen the best player, Ismayil Hasanov (the secondary school No.3 in Shaki) the best goalkeeper, and Azad Mutallimov (the secondary school No.11 in Sumgayit) the best head coach among the boys. Fair Play award was presented to Janpolad Bahramov (the secondary school No.3 in Ganja). Emin Feyzullayev (the secondary school No.11) became the top scorer with his 14 goals. The secondary schools No.3 of Ganja and No.236 of Baku took the third and second places respectively. The secondary school No.11 of Sumgayit become the winner of the tournament. The winners were awarded with bronze, silver, gold medals, diplomas and a cup.
