Head of AFFA Licensing and Registration Department Seymur Salimli and coach-coordinator Sarkhan Huseynov visited Ganja and Turan Tovuz football academies representing the Western region.
The purpose of the visit was to assess the current situation in the academies, check compliance with licensing requirements and identify development directions. Activities of the coaching staff and medical personnel, the current state of the infrastructure, the organization of training processes in all age groups were examined in detail and appropriate recommendations for improvement were presented within the meetings.
In extensive discussions with the Academy management, the development model, optimization of the internal structure and priority areas for the preparation of talented football players were evaluated. The meetings were organized with medical, goalkeeping and physical training specialists to analyze the health indicators of the football players, professional training standards and applied methodologies.
During the inspection of infrastructure facilities, the existing potential of the clubs was recorded, and current opportunities for transition to a new stage of development were assessed. Discussions with the SSM and legal teams were aimed at strengthening social projects and increasing the effectiveness of public activities. The opinions and suggestions of the clubs were noted by AFFA.
This visit is one of the important steps taken by AFFA towards its continued support for the development of football academies, as well further improving the licensing process.
