During the meeting, the club representatives have been informed about the criteria to be fulfilled, the main process and the club licensing system. Have to note that, this system intoduced by AFFA will be applied to the Women’s League for the first time starting from the current season. This means that the winner of the next season of the AFFA Top Women's League will have the right to represent our country in the UEFA Women's Champions League for the first time by obtaining the appropriate licence.
During the meeting, the collaborators of the licensing group announced that trainings will be organized for the clubs in general or individually in order to explain the regulations and criteria in detail. At the end of the event, the participants' questions were answered.
In addition, FIFA representative Andres Portabella also participated in the meeting by joining online. The implementation of the club licensing system in Women’s football is supported by FIFA. Andres, who informed about the FIFA Women's Football licensing system, wished success to the clubs participating in the AFFA Top Women's League.
