During today’s meeting of the AFFA Executive Committee, a decision was made to appoint Jahangir Farajullayev as General Secretary. Below is a brief biography of Jahangir Farajullayev.
Jahangir Farajullayev was born in Baku in 1981. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees with honors from the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Baku State University from 1999 to 2005.
From 2004 to 2019, he held various positions at Engin, Deniz Service, the Gametv.az Producer Center, AGBank, Novartis, Sandoz, and JTI Azerbaijan. Additionally, he served as an independent consultant specializing in business development and marketing.
From 2019 to 2020, Jahangir served as the CEO of Caspiantech. Between 2021 and 2025, he worked as an advisor to the General Director of Azerlotereya OJSC and as the General Director of LMK Company.
