As the country's supreme football body, the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan has always considered increasing the popularity of football, bringing the world's number one sport to a wider audience and improving the quality of broadcasting as a priority. In this sense, the national championship is always a focus.
To expand the broadcasting geography of the Misli Premier League matches, AFFA held discussions with the management of the tournament's exclusive broadcaster, CBC Sport, and the country's first sports TV channel, Idman TV. As a result of the negotiations, it was decided that starting from this season, one match from each round of the Misli Premier League will be broadcast live on Idman TV in parallel with CBC Sport.
The first broadcast within the new cooperation is planned to be the match Qarabag vs Sabah to be played within the 22nd tour. Highly appreciating the successful conclusion of the negotiations and the sensitive approach shown by both TV channels to the issue, the AFFA management thanks its fellow partners and wishes them success in their future activities.
The technical details regarding the broadcast and the regulation of the overall process will be carried out by the TV channels based on mutual agreement.
