Members of Azerbaijan national team met with teenagers train in Kurdakhani settlement of Baku. The meeting was attended by head coach of Azerbaijan A-team Aykhan Abbasov, team director Ilgar Gurbanov, players Rza Jafarov, Jeyhun Nuriyev, Mustafa Ahmadzada, as well head of AFFA Grassroots Department Farrukh Ismayilov.
Kurdakhani resident and amateur coach Zakir Aliyev has built a small football field for children in his yard and is trying to contribute to the development of young talents by conducting free training sessions there. Thanks to his initiative, many children living in the settlement have had the opportunity to play football.
The members of the national team got acquainted with the children, attended their training session and had sincere conversations. Head coach Aykhan Abbasov called on the teenagers to maintain their love for football and to always be diligent.
At the end of the meeting, the children took commemorative photos with the members of the national team and signed autographs. The teenagers were presented with gifts and soccer balls by AFFA.
