Presentation of The Amateur Football Environment Analysis prepared by experts from FIFA Global Football Development Department Raimondas Statkevičius and Gaioz Darsadze was held in Wyndham Garden Baku hotel in Baku on January 27-28.
The main goal of the two-day event was to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the amateur football environment in Azerbaijan, the structures operating in this field and their mechanisms of action, assess the current situation, as well as organize discussions on the development prospects of amateur football.
Within the event, AFFA Technical Director Jahangir Hasanzada presented statistical information on grassroots and social projects implemented by AFFA in cooperation with state institutions and non-governmental organizations. The interactive group work was organized for the participants; opinions were exchanged on relevant topics and practical approaches were discussed. During the group discussions, local experience, international approaches and development opportunities were the focus.
At the end of the event, AFFA Deputy Secretary General Elchin Mammadov expressed his gratitude on behalf of AFFA to AFFA staff members who actively participated in the seminar, representatives of cooperating state institutions and non-governmental organizations, club representatives, as well as coaches who participated in grassroots and social projects implemented by AFFA.
