In accordance with the decision made at AFFA Executive Committee meeting held on June 25, 2025, renovation work is proceeding at Bayil Stadium and the administrative building located on the premises to implement the Football Development Center pilot project.
The installation of an artificial turf surface holding the FIFA Quality PRO certification is currently underway at the stadium.
Additionally, major renovation work on the lighting system and the administrative building, specifically the changing rooms, as well as the rooms for referees, medical staff, and doping control, along with offices and sleeping quarters, is nearing completion.
Following the renovations, the stadium is slated to be fully dedicated to youth and children's football. As part of this initiative, the Stars of Tomorrow tournament is scheduled to be held at Bayil Stadium this August in cooperation with Baku Football Federation.
