The A-team's squad was announced

Fernando Santos, the head coach of the Azerbaijan A-team, revealed the list of players selected for the team during a press conference held at the AFFA Headquarters. The Portuguese coach has called up the following players for the training camp, which begins on October 7:

 

 

The team is scheduled to gather on October 7 and train at the Neftchi Football Center on October 8-9. They will depart for Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, on October 9 at 15:00. Head coach Fernando Santos will lead the team in their final pre-match training session with Estonia at Lillekula Stadium on October 10 at 6:00 PM Baku time. The Azerbaijani team will have a morning training session on October 12, the day after their match with the Estonian team, and return to Baku at 14:00. On October 13, there will be a final pre-match training session with the Slovakian team at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium at 17:00.

 

Azerbaijan will play against Estonia on October 11 at Lillekula Stadium and against Slovakia at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium on October 14 as part of League C Group C1. Both matches will kick off at 20:00.
