An annual conference on "UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Sustainability" was organized in Limassol, Cyprus, with the participation of UEFA member association representatives on November 8-9.
Director of AFFA Club Licensing Department Elchin Mammadov and financial expert Aynur Abdullayeva took part in the conference.
The following topics were discussed at the conference:
• Overview of the previous licensing season;
• Development of football in Cyprus;
• Innovations in Club Licensing and Financial Sustainability rules;
• Changes that will take place in UEFA club competitions starting from the next season;
• Legal issues in Club Licensing;
• Women's football and club licensing etc.
During the conference, Elchin Mammadov, director of the Club Licensing Department, participated in the discussions on "Raising standards in women's football".
