The seminar was conducted by Lauri Nuuma, serving as head coach for the football club Harju JK Laagri from the Estonian Premier League. Lauri Nuuma, who holds a UEFA PRO coacing license, has experience in football coaching, players development, training methodology, scouting and performance analysis from various countries. He also participated in the establishment of a unified development model from the academy to the first team at the club.
The Estonian specialist spoke about the importance of evaluating football not only as a game, but as a whole system that shapes human behavior, environment, culture, decision-making and performance. The coach emphasized the importance of analyzing the processes, daily behaviors and environment that create those results, rather than looking at results as a final result.
The seminar focused on the application of club DNA in the academy environment, game philosophy, training methodology, and building a player development model as a unified system. It was noted that the club's DNA should not be just a general idea or slogan but should be formed as a daily code of conduct for the team, and the training process, game analysis, scouting, and player development should be systematically built on this approach.
Supporting the expansion of continuous learning opportunities in football, AFFA envisages the regular organization of both physical and digital learning opportunities in this direction. The aim is to create more accessible, practical and modern educational opportunities for various participants in the football ecosystem.
The seminar concluded with an exchange of views and a question-and-answer session with the participants. At the end of the event, commemorative gifts were presented to each other.
